Working to end mass incarceration in Minnesota

Good Work Group partnered with Better Futures Minnesota to provide:

  • Impact storytelling and communications

  • Advocacy campaigns and development

  • Social media management

  • Thought leadership/key message development

  • Web content strategy

  • White papers

  • Public relations

Good Work Group provided ongoing communications consulting and support through grassroots advocacy campaigns and storytelling, including blogs, newsletters, impact stories, and content that uses current news stories as a lens for policy change around prisons, re-entry, and housing injustice in Minnesota.

Working alongside the President, I also developed essential white papers detailing Better Futures’ policy goals and social return on investment, in an effort to address core issues related to re-entry after incarceration and increase funding for Better Futures’ mission to serve men returning from incarceration through integrated care and essential, trauma-informed supports.

In the fall of 2019, then-presidential-candidate Elizabeth Warren visited Better Futures to announce her comprehensive criminal justice reform package to the public.
